Cheer Tryout Outfit -- to be worn on Saturday, April 28

  1. Plain WHITE t-shirt (NO tank tops)
  2. NAVY BLUE or BLACK shorts (mid-thigh length).
  3. Clean WHITE socks/footies
  4. Clean athletic sneakers
  5. Hair MUST be in a high ponytail with WHITE bow
  6. NO JEWELRY
  7. NO acrylic fingernails. Nails should not be visible past the tip of fingers.

NO EXCEPTIONS will be made; you will not be able to participate and asked to call for a ride home.

Cheer team Tryout Information 2018

  • Tryout Practice Day 1: Thursday, April 26, 4:30 – 6:30 in gym
  • Tryout Practice Day 2: Friday, April 27, 4:30 – 6:30 in CAFETERIA
  • Tryout Practice Day 3: Saturday, April 28, 8:30am – 10:00am in gym

Cheer Team Tryout: Saturday, April 28, 10:30am to 1:00pm in gym. 

 

Team will be announced after tryout; there will be a parent meeting regarding schedule & budget.

Cheer Skill Requirements - Updated

Skills Requirements: You will be judged on the following:

1. Cheer / Chant – Perform cheers without a partner
2. Dance - Perform dance to music without a partner
3. Jumps – toe touch and choice of herkie (right or left)

 

Tumbling skills, such as backhand spring & flips, are great but not required.
